The much-awaited T20I series between India and West Indies is all set to begin and the fans and players cannot wait to get started. Massive sixes, high intensity, nail-biting moments and much more can be expected as this is no ordinary T20Is between India and West Indies. 

The Caribbean islanders are well known for their performances in the shortest format of the game and are currently the World T20 defending champions, so India, cannot tread lightly. 

The Windies are back with some of the stars for the three-match series and you may very well be familiar with a few of them from their performances in the Indian Premier League. However, the 'Universal Boss' Chris Gaye and Sunil Narine won't be playing for the Windies. 

One thing is for sure, there will never be a dull moment in the three fixtures and you can expect plenty of actions from the first delivery to the last. 

With MS Dhoni being rested for the T20Is against West Indies, youngster Rishabh Pant makes his way along with Dinesh Karthik and one will fill the spot for the wicketkeeping position in the playing XI. 

India have picked a young squad which Rohit Sharma will lead as captain Kohli has been rested. The previous time Rohit led India, they won the Asia Cup. 

The clashes will surely be exciting, pulsating, intriguing and thrilling. Here are a few players to look out for in the upcoming T20I series between India and West Indies.

A destructive all-rounder who can be a huge threat for the Indian cricket team. He was known for smashing four sixes on Ben Stokes' over in the ICC World T20 final in 2016 in Eden Gardens. A few months later, he was leading the Windies T20I side. Carlos Brathwaite is expected to put on a show as he played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad this season, which reached the finals of the 2018 IPL

Kieron Pollard

This man needs no introduction. West Indies' 'KP', Kieron Pollard is an explosive lower-order batsman and a can match his batting with his bowling. This Mumbai Indian player favourite knows his way around the Indian grounds and will surely want to prove his critics wrong after a poor season in the 2018 IPL. Even though he is in and out of the national team, he is a huge asset in the shortest format of the game.

He is one player you should definitely keep your eye on.

A limited-overs format player who is known for his big hitting abilities, Rovman Powell entered the scene for his performances in the 2016 World T20 and apart from his batting prowess, he is quite handy with the ball as well which makes him an asset for the West Indies team.

Lokesh Rahul is eager to get back in action as his skills and abilities in the T20 format are known to all. He was a match winner for Kings XI Punjab this season in the IPL and also hammered a ton in the T20Is against England. Rahul is expected to put on a show in the T20Is against Windies.

Rishabh Pant broke into the scene after his outstanding performances in the 2018 IPL for Delhi Daredevils. Gigantic sixes, plenty of variations and a guy for T20s. He was immediately brought into the Test squad for England where he scored his debut ton at the Oval. The last T20 match he played was in the IPL and will be eager to cement his place in the India T20 squad as well. 

Krunal Pandya

The elder brother of Hardik Pandya, Krunal has been brought into the team and his skills in the T20 format is more than impressive. The Mumbai Indian player has slowly made his way through and has finally been called to the senior team. The 27-year old is yet to debut for India despite being a favourite in the IPL. He didn't get a chance in the England T20Is, but his place against Windies is likely possible.

This left-arm pacer has been making all the headlines and after his impressive performances in the ODIs against Windies, Khaleel Ahmed can be a star in the making. This young lad is a back up for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah and can soon be left-armer India is on the hunt for. 

The India vs West Indies 1st T20I will begin on November 4 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
