Kolkata, Jun 10: Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Pravin Togadia on Saturday said that Sanjay Joshi's exit from the BJP was a ‘loss to the party'.
Describing him as a most dedicated and disciplined leader, Togadia told reporters, “every political party, particularly BJP, today needs a dedicated and disciplined leader like him (Joshi). I know him for last 30 years and he has done a lot for Gujarat.
“Attempts were earlier made to malign him over a CD controversy. It was a fake CD,” he said.
On the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal giving financial grants to imams, Togadia alleged that it was squandering public money and demanded that Sanskrit pundits should be similarly assisted.
