New Delhi: During the Oath taking ceremony, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached out to his political opponents and sought their advice in governance.
Calling his friend turned rival Kiran Bedi – an elder sister he said, “I respect Kiran Bedi, she is like my elder sister. She has good experience in administration, I need her advice.”
Kiran Bedi was BJP CM candidate during the Delhi Assembly polls. She fought hard against the AAP and its chief Kejriwal.
During his address, Kejriwal also mentioned Congress' Ajay Maken.
“I will also seek cooperation from Ajay Maken”, the Chief Minister said.
He added. “I will involve everyone to make Delhi an ideal state.”
