New Delhi: The BJP central election committee today finalized the names of 177 candidates for the forthcoming Rajasthan assembly polls.
Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje will contest from Jhalawar, while former Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria will contest from Udaipur.
BJP leaders Arun chaturvedi will contest from Civil Lines Jaipur, Dropadi Meghwal from Pilibanga and Dataram Gurjar from Khetri.
Three Muslim candidates have also been given BJP tickets.
Six party MLAs have been denied tickets. Rajkumari Diya Kumari of Jaipur royal family has been given ticket from Sawai Madhopur.
More than 24 women candidates have got tickets this time.
