New Delhi: The Duchess of Cambridge glammed up for her first official night out of the year tonight - with a diamond necklace borrowed from the Queen.
Looking stunning in the same midnight green Jenny Packham gown she wore to a dinner in October teamed with the enormous diamond necklace, Kate mingled with 430 guests including Liz Hurley, Olympic Gold Medallist Katherine Grainger and cross-dressing artist Grayson Perry.
But it was the Cartier diamond known as the Nizam of Hyderabad, given to Queen Elizabeth II in 1947 for her wedding to the Duke of Edinburgh that had tongues wagging.
