New Delhi, Jul 8: Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning though monsoon rains eluded the capital in the early hours.
No rains were reported in the capital between 5:30 PM yesterday and 8:30 AM today. The rain guages measured 0.3 mm showers yesterday while the day before recorded 40.1 mm.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees celsius, one degree below normal and up from yesterday's 23.2 degrees Celsius.
The Weatherman said rain or thundershowers would occur over places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at a few places over Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and east Rajasthan.
