Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat was discharged from AIIMS today, over a month after he was admitted to the prestigious Delhi hospital after suffering neck injury during a flight.
“The Chief Minister has been discharged from AIIMS,” Rawat's media in-charge Surendra Kumar said here. Rawat was admitted to AIIMS on June 13, he said.
Rawat is contesting Dharchula Assembly bypoll, slated for July 21, to enter the State Assembly within the mandatory period of six months after taking oath as Chief Minister on February one.
