A fire broke out on the top floor of Tower A at India Bull Centrum Park in Sector-103, Gurugram, located along the Dwarka Expressway. Firefighters rushed to the spot soon after the blaze was reported and are currently working to bring the situation under control. According to initial reports, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
This comes a month after a fire broke out in a slum area of Sector 15, Part-2, in Gurugram following a cylinder blast. The blast led to a massive fire, which quickly spread across nearby structures. However, no casualties were reported.
Fire in Gaffar Market of Delhi's Karol Bagh
A fire broke out in Gaffar Market in the Karol Bagh area of Delhi. Four fire tenders rushed to the spot to bring the flame under control. A similar fire broke out in the Karol Bagh area on June 12, 2022. After receiving information about the fire, over 39 fire engines rushed to the spot. After much effort, the fire was brought under control.
Massive fire breaks out at furniture warehouse in Gurugram
This comes months after a massive fire broke out at a warehouse of Krishna Furniture located at Atul Kataria Chowk in Gurugram. Thick plumes of smoke billowed into the sky as flames engulfed the premises, triggering panic in the surrounding area. According to fire officer Narendra Yadav, no casualties were reported in the matter.
"We received a message at the Bhimnagar Fire Station that a fire has broken out in Krishna Furniture at the Atul Kataria Chowk...Efforts are underway to douse the fire. 18-20 fire vehicles are present here. No casualty has been reported", the fire official said.
Mohit Sharma, Chief Warden, Civil Defence Team, said, "The fire broke out at around 12:40 am. We received the information at around 12:44 am. We directed all the fire stations to dispatch their vehicles...Around 20 fire vehicles are present at the spot. We do not have information regarding casualties...We have called the SDRF team too...The fire is under control, but it will take time to be extinguished."
