Thunderstroms accompanied by rain are very likley during the mid morning today at at isolated area over Baghpat, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut districts and adjoining areas of Uttar Pradesh, an IMD alert said.
According to weather alert issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds and lightning are very likely at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi. The Met department says that heavy to very heavy rain is very likely at isolated places over Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and Konkan and Goa.
The IMD has also issued an alert for heavy rain at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Odisha, Kerala, Assam & Meghalaya, North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
