'Our fight is against terrorism, not Kashmiris': PM Modi denounces recent attacks

Preparations for the proposed visit of the prime minister were reviewed by senior police and civic officials during a meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday visited Tonk city of Rajasthan, where he addressed the 'Vijay Sankalp rally' of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Commenting on the development, a BJP spokesperson said party-level preparations for the public meeting have been completed. 

Preparations for the visit of the prime minister were also reviewed by senior police and civic officials during a meeting. 

Chief Secretary DB Gupta, DGP Kapil Garg, DG (law and order) ML Lathar, ADG (Intelligence) Umesh Mishra and others were present in the meeting held at the secretariat.
