Chhattisgarh: One jawan injured as Naxals target 206 CoBRA and DRG troops with IED blast in Sukma

The explosion took place when the troops of 206 CoBRA and DRG were returning to their base camp in Chintagupha.

Chhattisgarh: One jawan injured as Naxals target 206 CoBRA and DRG troops with IED blast in Sukma (Representative image)

One District Reserve Guard (DRG) jawan was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast earlier today in the forest area of Minpa in Chhattisgarh's Sukma. The explosion took place when the troops of 206 CoBRA and DRG were returning to their base camp in Chintagupha.

The injured jawan, Mandvi Sukka, has bene referred to a hospital for treatement. 

According to initial reports, the 206 CoBRA and DRG were returning from a search operation in Burkpal area.
