But with wine, it gets a bit tricky, so team it with the right dish to enhance the flavour.Sommelier Sovna Puri of Sula Vineyards wine company has few suggestions:- Intensity: The flavour intensity in food should match with that of wine. For instance, high flavour intensity wines like Riesling (white grape variety) and Gewurztraminer (wine grape also used in white wine) can be consumed with salads, predominantly bell peppers.- Sweet-salty food: Sweet wine like Chenin Blanc can be paired with desserts like apple pie or cheesecake.- Acidic-oily-fatty food: Acidic wine like sparkling Sula Brut, Sula Sauvignon Blanc can be taken with pasta in cheese or tomato sauce. Fried nuggets is also a good choice.- Chewy meat: Tannic wine (red wine) like Dindori Reserve Shiraz and Malbec can be relished with steak.
