New Delhi: Tuesday is here! If you are a typical non-vegetarian then Tuesday is and will always be a nightmare for you.

If all vegetarian food makes your Tuesdays dull and boring then don't be disheartened. We will turn your Tuesday's dinner to Friday treat with some simple vegetarian dishes. The garden of leaves and vegetables will be no less than that of Eden, once you try some of these recipes.

Not just these vegetarian recipes will make your dinner tastier but healthier too. As research says a vegetarian dishes lower the risk of diabetes, cancer and keep you more cheerful and optimistic. So have a look at some mouth watering dishes for your Tuesday dinner and spread happiness on your dinning table.

1. Soya Chaap- Soya Chaap is made from soya flour and is considered to be a substitute for the meat dishes.
 
Ingredients-Soya Sticks, Tomatoes, Onions, Salt, Oil, Kashmiri, Red Chili Powder Kashmiri Veri Masala, Cumin Seeds, Garlic cloves,
 
Method

1. Chop onions into fine long slices. Add oil in a large frying pan. Once it is hot, add cumin seeds.
2.  Add chopped onions. Stir fry them for a few minutes. Add peeled and cleaned garlic cloves.  Chop tomatoes with the help of a vegetable chopper. Add chopped tomatoes into the frying pan. Mix them thoroughly.
3. Wash the soya sticks under running water. Remove the sticks from the soya chaap. Cut the soya chaap into large pieces.
4. Heat the oil in another frying pan. Fry all the pieces of soya chaap. Add salt and Kashmiri red chili powder to the onion slices and mix them together. Add Kashmiri veri masala. Add fried pieces of the soya chaap. Mix them together. Serve it with rice or rotis.

2. Masala Channa topped with tadaka aloo- You must have eaten mouth watering channa masala but this tadaka aloo twist makes this normal recipe a treat for food lover.

Ingredients: Chickpeas, Bay Leaf, Black Cardamom, Salt, Fennel, Coriander Powder, Kashmiri Mirch, Asafoetida, Ginger, Green Chillies, Fenugreek, Lemon Juice, Baking Soda, Cloves, Potatoes, Tomato

For masala channa:
1. Soak 400 grams of channa in a vessel and mix 1 tsp of meetha soda, and leave for 4-5 hours.
2. Make a 'potli' of tea leaves, add 3 bay leaves, 5 large black cardamoms and put it to boil with little salt (1 tsp) along with the soaked channas for an hour. Then discard the potli and keep it aside. Preserve the water.
3. Now blend the masala, by mixing all the dry items; cumin powder, kachari powder, fennel powder, anardana powder, amchoor powder, dhaniya powder, kasoori methi, red chilly powder, garam masala, salt and a pinch of hing and take it out in a bowl. Mix warm water with the masala and make sure no lumps form. Mix the masala with the channa.
 4. Heat oil in a pan and stir the ginger and garlic for a while but don't make it brown.

5. Add this to the channa and cover it for a while so that the masala blends well.

6. Leave it for 10-15 minutes.

 For masala aloo:

 1. In a pan heat oil and add turmeric powder, chili powder and ginger julienne.
 2. Then toss the tomatoes, potatoes, green chilies and pour over the channas.
