Versatile Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao is celebrating his 34th birthday today along with the release of his horror-comedy Stree. On his special day, the entire film fraternity is pouring wishes for him on Twitter, including his Fanney Khan co-star Anil Kapoor. Going by his elaborate birthday wish, it seems like the Race 3 actor is completely in awe of Rao. Wishing him on his birthday, he wrote, “Happy Birthday to the actor who’s on the road to great success at full speed, a gem of a person and my dear friend @RajkummarRao !! All the best for #Stree! Movie releasing on your birthday has to be a good sign always! Keep doing what you do!”

Rajkummar Rao’s birthday this year coincides with the release of his film Stree. It is a horror-comedy film directed by debutante director Amar Kaushik. It stars Shraddha Kapoor, Aparshakti Khurrana and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles. Stree is based on the urban legend of Nale Ba which went viral in Indian states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. According to the superstitions, Stree is a ghost of a bride who embarks on a hunt on a full moon night looking for her husband. Allegedly, she takes away the man of the house who is usually the sole bread-earner of the family.
Also, Rajkummar Rao will also be seen in highly-acclaimed film Love Sonia, which marks the debut of TV actress Mrunal Thakur in Bollywood. The film is slated to release on September 7. Another project he’s working on his Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, in which he will share screen space with Anil Kapoor for the second time after Fanney Khan.
