While the duo are treating fans with their best quirky looks, filmmaker Karan Johar called Alia Bhatt’s recent look for promotions as the ‘cassata look’ and she couldn’t stop laughing. Meanwhile, her hero Ranveer Singh had the best reply to Karan Johar’s comment that made all 5their fans go aww. Ranveer and Alia were joined by their director Zoya Akhtar for the latest leg of promotions of Gully Boy and Karan Johar also made an appearance when he shot the ‘Toodles’ video with them.
Karan Johar’s Toodles video went viral after he shared them on his Instagram from the sets of India’s Got Challenge. When KJo joined the Gully Boy star cast as a part of their promotional junket, he made a toodles video and called Alia Bhatt casatta. Karan quips that he loves Alia Bhatt’s "Cassata look" leaving everyone in laughter. Soon after, Ranveer jumps in to defend Alia and says, “Cassatas are layered, colourful and they give people a lot of joy.” Watch the video here-
In the video, when Karan tells Alia that 'toodles' is his word and she ‘stole’ it, Zoya Akhtar replies, "That's my word, you stole it." Ranveer Singh also took to his Instagram later to share a picture with two maestros- Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar. He captioned the picture as, “Love Sandwich! I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later."
