Amid all legal troubles Akshay Kumar’s “Jolly LLB 2” hit the theatres yesterday and emerged as an impressive winner. The film’s first day box-office collection is out. Khiladi’s film received a warm response and collected Rs 13.20 crore on its opening day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted the first day collections of “Jolly LLB 2”.“#JollyLLB2 Fri ₹ 13.20 cr. India biz... Merits coupled with +ve word of mouth should help garner a lucrative total on Sat and Sun”, he tweeted.

In another tweet he said,”Powerful writing+dialogue. Commendable performances. Skilful direction... #JollyLLB2 is a THOROUGH ENTERTAINER. Amongst @akshaykumar's best!”

The trailer of ‘Jolly LLB 2’ looked promising. Akshay’s black robe debut combined with Annu Kapoor’s strong arguments and humorous dialogues indicated that the flick can be Khiladi Kumar’s fourth 100 crore movie in a row.

The film is the sequel of 2013 film ‘Jolly LLB’ that not only hear good words from the audience but also won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. But, as far as numbers are concerned, the film lacked there. The prequel had Arshad Warsi in lead role.

Well, indeed the opening day proved to be a jolly good day for Akshay and we wish that his film hits the 100 crore mark soon! All the best to “Jolly LLB 2” team.
