Sonakshi Sinha starts shooting for untitled film in Amritsar, shares picture

Sonakshi Sinha will feature alongside Varun Sharma in the untitled film.

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has kick-started shooting for her next untitled film in Amritsar, Punjab. Sharing the picture from her first day of shoot, the actress wrote, ''Naya din, nayi film... naya kaam... but no naam yet (new day, new film but no name yet) First day of shoot today, will tell you the name as soon as we know! Wish us luck''. In the Instagram photo, we can also see actor Fukrey actor Varun Sharma and director Mrighdeep Lamba. In the picture, they can be seen all layered in woolens. The film directed by Shilpi Dasgupta is being jointly produced by T-Series and Lamba. More details of the film are awaited.

Sonakshi recently wrapped Karan Johar's ambitious project Kalank. The movie features Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sonakshi and Aditya Roy Kapur in pivotal roles. The multi-starrer film directed by Abhishek Varman will release on April 19. After wrapping Kalank, she shared a picture on Instagram along with the caption, "Just the beginning of the year and the end of a new film! It's a wrap for me on 'Kalank'... a project I am proud to be a part of! Can't wait for you all to see it."

The actress will also start shooting for her 'homecoming' project Dabangg 3 soon. Talking about it, Sonakshi said, ''I am very excited to begin shoot of Dabangg 3. After release of Dabangg and Dabangg 2, we took a long break. Now we will begin shooting of Dabangg 3. I have started my film journey with Dabangg so it's like a homecoming for me so, I am very excited." Produced by Arbaaz Khan, the movie will be helmed by Prabhudeva. She will be seen in another multi-starrer film titled Mission Mangal.
