Mental Hai Kya: Here's what Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao will play in the psychological-thriller
Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut starrer Mental Hai Kya has been making huge headlines since its first announcement. Now, according to a Mumbai Mirror report, Kangana will be playing a voiceover artist in the film and Rao will be a playing the role of an entrepreneur. Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao will be seen playing an entrepreneur in the movie. The film is a psychological-thriller, helmed by Prakash Kovelmaudi and Kanika Dhillon. The couple is coming together for the second time after Queen.
The report also adds that the team is in London currently to begin shooting the second schedule of the film.
"Kangana has been putting in a lot of time to get her part right, focusing on the minute details and training with professionals. The team is currently in London to shoot the second schedule which will be filmed over the next 30-35 days. Besides some interesting scenes, Kangana and Rajkummar are also scheduled to shoot a fun song at major locations in London. The spots that have been finalised for the shoot from across Central London, include the London Tower Bridge, Oxford Street and a Broadway theatre in the city”, a source was quoted as saying to Mumbai Mirror.
Mental Hai Kya is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh. Directed by debutant Prakash Kovelamudi, the film also features Amyra Dastur and Satish Kaushik apart from Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao.
“Mental Hai Kya celebrates the beauty in imperfections and in being different and shouts out, sanity is overrated! I’m thrilled to work with Kangana and Raj on this one,” stated Ekta Kapoor, in a recent interview with Mid-day.
