Imran Zahid is a Delhi based actor who shared the plot details of the movie Marksheet. In an interview, he said, ““Bhatt Saab and I speak freely to one another. I  have shared the details of our project with him. He might have shared it with people around. A sir is an open person. He talks his heart out without realising that there are people who are so starved of ideas that they steal those ideas unconsciously.”

Rajesh Ranjan Kumar, the director of the movie has very interestingly designed the plot to unravel the rackets existing in the education system. Imran on being asked about the corruption of the education system said, “. "I have seen how such rackets work during my days at the University. For me, the film will be a nostalgic experience.
