Actor Dharmendra turned 81 today and his fans got treated with few of his throwback pictures, all thanks to megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Big B took to micro- blogging website Twitter to share pictures of Dharam Paaji.
Few of the pictures are from the sets of ‘Sholay’ were shared by Big B that will make you nostalgic. He also retweeted collages of fan clubs who wished Dharmendra on the micro-blogging website.

The friendship between Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan is just like the two portrayed on the silver screen in the 1975 hit movie ‘Sholay’.
The Veeru of the Jai-Veeru duo of ‘Sholay’ went on record to say that Amitabh Bachchan is like his younger brother. He also called Big B the engine of Bollywood.
Now Big B’s heat warming tweets of Dharmendra proves that over the years nothing has changed between them.
Dharmendra started his career in Bollywood with Arjun Hingorani's movie, 'Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere'. However, his first action flick was 'Phool aur Paththar' which turned out to be a golden jubilee hit. In his career that has spanned decades, Dharmendra has worked many movies and impressed viewers with his acting skills.
In 1997, Dharmendra received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Hindi cinema. He was last seen in ‘Second Hand Husband’ that also starred Punjabi star Gippy Grewal.
