After months of illness, veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital Mumbai. He breathed his last at 11.20 am.

The funeral took place at the Banganga Crematorium in Worli. B-town stars and co-stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor attended the funeral. Danny Denzongpa,  Kabir Bedi, and Ranjeet were also a part of the funeral.

The legendary actor was fighting advanced bladder carcinoma, the hospital statement read. He was 70.

Recently, a picture showing a pale-looking Vinod Khanna standing with the help of two people had gone viral. 
 

The legendary actor started his filmy career with Mann Ke Meet, was known for fabulous work in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Dayavan and Hera Pheri. The actor, who was born in Peshawar in 1947, stayed away from films for five years at the peak of his career and joined the ashram of Osho in Rajneeshpuram
