New Delhi: The 12th edition of the Auto Expo, jointly organized by CII, SIAM and ACMA, accredited by OICA, will be held between February 7-11 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida while the Components show will be conducted between February 6-9 at Pragati Maidan. The show is expected to give the desired fillip to the auto industry as a whole. CII says, as many as 70 new vehicles will be unveiled, with 26 global unveilings of which 15 are cars. The event will be attended by 1100 exhibitors in the motor show and about 55 exhibitors in the components show will display a staggering array of vehicles and components in much larger space and there will be a special theme pavilion to promote hybrid and electric mobility.On display at the Show will be over 500 plus new technologies and over 5000 products. Then comes the long, long list of launches, debuts, reveals and more that are ensuring that the buzz around the biennial show has never been greater.The expected footfalls in the Motor Show is about 1 lakh per day, and about 10,000 per day in the components show, which is primarily a B2B show.Coinciding with the show, the organisers have also brought out an app which is available on Android, Blackberry and iOS. This free app helps lists out the names of exhibitors and the site map to locate an exhibitor. Additionally it also gives you directions about the parking, shuttle service and the all important tickets.
