New Delhi: After being in the iPhone business for the last six and a half years, Apple has clearly mastered the formula of tempting customers with a refined product that promises more. This year was no exception. Apple's iPhone 5S is out in the market and it is all about polish. The new smartphone is a tweaked version of the iPhone 5 that retains the same screen and physical dimensions of its predecessor. This year's “S” upgrade isn't about looks, but about new colors options that are driving some customers insane. In iPhone 5S, Apple has cranked up the processing power with the faster A7 chip, and adding 64-bit support to make it future-proof. At the same time it has also added a new improved camera and a fingerprint sensor. The display of the iPhone 5s is essentially the same as that of the iPhone 5: a 4-inch-diagonal, 1136-by-640-pixel display at 326 ppi, or Retina resolution. It's a bright, beautiful display. Paired with iOS 7, the iPhone 5s promises to offer the next-generation iPhone experience fans were hoping for. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S4 is still the most powerful and desirable device Samsung has created yet. Measuring 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9mm (5.38 x 2.75 x 0.31 inches), the device is thin, light and plastic. The Galaxy S 4 offers a larger 5 inch full HD (1920x1080, 441 ppi) Super AMOLED display and offer much bigger number that you will be able to see. On tearing down, iFixit found that the iPhone 5S is very similar to the handset it replaces–the iPhone 5, but with a few key differences. Once removed, iFixit found that Apple has made it even more difficult to replace the battery. The pull tab on the iPhone 5 battery has gone, and Apple has used two long strips of adhesive to glue it in place. So, if you want to replace it yourself, you will require heat and a lot of prying, which will scare a lot many of you.Full 1080p HD videoThe S4 can play full 1080p HD video, which the iPhone 5S and many other top-tier smartphones still can't do.Built-in infrared blasterThe S4 has a built-in infrared blaster that can be used as a universal remote to control your TV. The IR blaster is the little black dot at the top of the phone. The S4 also comes a special app that pulls in data from your cable and suggest shows you may like to watch.Near field communication chipThe S4 comes with a near field communication (NFC) chip that lets your phone talk to other devices with NFC. Hence you can make mobile payments, swap content like photos between phones just by tapping them together, or pair your phone with a stereo with a tap.Group PlayAn app on Samsung Galaxy S4 called Group Play allows you to play games, share photos, and stream the same song with other Galaxy S4 phones wirelessly. The app connects you to other phones over a Wi-Fi connection. Huge camera tricksSamsung's new Galaxy S4 is feature-rich Android smartphone that comes with many pre-loaded apps that allows you to do dozens of supported gestures, motion control options, and voice commands. For instance, you can automatically erase a blurry figure from the background or make your own animated GIFs. The iPhone 5S camera offers only slow-motion video and some Instagram-like filters.
