IND vs ENG T20 World Cup 2022: Cometh the hour, cometh the king. Virat Kohli has registered a monumental feat and that too when it counts the most. India are taking on England and they are in the hunt to qualify for the final bout that will be contested at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on November 13, 2022. The Indian openers have certainly not delivered in the tournament so far, but it is Virat Kohli who has continued his dominant run and has led India's campaign from the front.

The former India captain was at the helm of the leading T20I run-scorers list, but in the match against England, he achieved yet another landmark. Kohli has breached the 4000 runs landmark as he played a gritty innings of 50 runs from 40 deliveries. In his inning, the Indian superstar scored at a strike rate of 125.00 and struck 4 boundaries and 1 six. The top order was under all sorts of pressure against England. Kohli walked out when India were reeling at 9/1 with KL Rahul back in the dressing room. The men in blue expected Kohli to step up and he did exactly what was required. As of now, Kohli is also the leading scorer in the ongoing cricket World Cup. He has amassed a total of 296 runs at an average of 98.6.
