Amit Shah slams Udhayanidhi Stalin

Shah slammed Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his "Sanatana dharma" statement and said teh remark shows that the Opposition bloc I.N.D.I.A. "hates Hinduism" and is "an attack on our heritage".

Further attacking Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the Home Minister said that the latter termed Hindu organisations as 'more dangerous' than Lashkar-e-Taiba.  "For the last two days INDIA alliance is insulting 'Sanatana Dharma'. Leaders of DMK and Congress are talking about ending 'Sanatana Dharma' just for vote bank politics. This is not the first time they have insulted our 'Sanatana Dharma'. Before this, Manmohan Singh also said that the first right on the budget is for the minorities, but we say that the first right is for the poor, tribals, Dalits and backwards. Today, the Congress party says that if Modi ji will win, Sanatana will rule. Rahul Gandhi said that the Hindu organisations are more dangerous than Lashkar-e-Taiba. Rahul Gandhi compared Hindu organisations with Lashkar-e-Taiba."

Shah lashes out at the I.N.D.I.A. alliance from the Rajasthan rally, stating that the 'Ghamandiya gathbandan' can go to any extent for vote bank politics. "INDIA alliance leaders have talked in the context of 'Sanatan dharma' for vote bank, appeasement politics," he added.

The Home Minister said that they (Opposition) say Sanatan rule will come if Modi wins. "Sanatan ruling people's heart. Modi has said India will run on the basis of the Constitution," said Shah.

"Grand Ram temple to be ready in January in Lord Ram's birthplace. INDIA alliance cannot stop it. Congress blocked it for years," he added.

Shah attacked Gehlot government

Amit Shah criticized the Gehlot government severely, asking, "Gehlot should tell us what the UP government has given to Rajasthan. The Gehlot government has betrayed the people of Rajasthan. The Gehlot government has given corruption and favouritism to Rajasthan. Gehlot has given nothing except scams in 5 years. There were scams worth 12 lakh crores in the UP government. Those who oppose corruption cannot point a finger at Modi. The BJP has resolved to bring about change in Rajasthan."

He also said that Rajasthan CM Gehlot sees a red diary even when someone wears red clothes, it contains details of 'mining, Kalisindh, teachers' scams. "Ashok Gehlot should give an account of the corruption, scams and appeasement done in five years to the people of Rajasthan," he said at 'Parivartan Yatra' in Dungarpur. He said that the UPA government allocated only Rs 1,60,000 crore to Rajasthan in 10 years, but PM Modi gave Rs 8,71,000 crore in the last nine years.

Shah also offered prayers at Beneshwar Dham in Rajasthan's Dungarpur.

JP Nadda flagged off Parivartan Sankalp Yatra

Earlier on Saturday, BJP national president  JP Nadda flagged off the first Parivartan Sankalp Yatra from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan.  This yatra has been launched by the state BJP on various issues against the Congress government in the state. This yatra will pass through all the 200 assembly constituencies in the state and cover over 9000 kms thus reaching out to over 1 crore people in the state.

Launching a scathing attack on the Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan over crime against women, corruption and other issues, Nadda accused the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government of being involved in scams worth Rs 12 lakh crore. He also called upon the people to remove the government if they wanted to change the situation in the state.

"When the Ashok Gehlot government of the Congress party puts the state in chaos, it indulges in misgovernance, people of the state get fed up due to misrule and it abolished reservation for women, then it becomes the responsibility of every BJP worker to go to the people of the state and tell them all about this misrule, misgovernance and chaos in the state. People of Rajasthan will not tolerate this misrule and misgovernance, he said.

He said that this is not the Congress government in the state, rather this is the government of massive corruption and loot which has given all its MLAs to loot the state. "The people in the Rajasthan government engage in massive corruption to please their bosses sitting in Delhi. This corrupt and incompetent government will be uprooted through democratic means with the cooperation and support of the people of Rajasthan," he added.
