Palaash Muchhal's cousin defends him after wedding with Smriti Mandhana postponed: 'You all should not judge'
Palaash Muchhal's cousin has reacted to the filmmaker's ongoing rumours after his wedding with Smriti Mandhana was postponed. The couple haven't reacted to the matter yet.
Filmmaker Palaash Muchhal and cricketer Smriti Mandhana's wedding has been postponed. While Mandhana's team shared that the postponement took place due to her father's hospitalisation, several Reddit threads claimed otherwise. Amid this, Palaash's cousin Neeti Tak, who goes by the username 'Pahini21' on Instagram, penned a note defending her brother. For the unversed, Palaash, too, has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai.
"Palash is going through a critical condition today, you all should not judge Palash as wrong without knowing the truth,” Palaash’s cousin wrote on her Instagram Story. She added, “Technology today has come much ahead of humans, that is why people should not judge Palash in the face of rumours… pray for him."
For the unversed, Palaash and Smriti were to marry on Sunday, November 23. Their wedding was postponed after Smriti's father was admitted to the hospital. He has now been discharged.
Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana's wedding was scheduled to take place in Sangli, Maharashtra. Their wedding was put on hold after Smriti's father fell ill. Mandhana's manager, Tuhin Mishra, confirmed the news to the media, stating, "Today in the morning, when Smriti's father was having breakfast, his health deteriorated. We waited for a bit, thinking he would get fine. But when it deteriorated further, we called for an ambulance and took him to the hospital, and he is under observation."
"Smriti is very close to her father. She has decided that the marriage will be indefinitely postponed until he gets well. Her father is under observation and the doctor has told that he will have to stay in the hospital until he recovers. Smriti is clear, she wants to see her father well and then get married," he further added.
In fact, Palaash and Smriti's wedding festivities were going on in full swing. Multiple glimpses from their haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremonies were widely circulated online. Surprisingly, Smriti has removed photos from her pre-wedding festivities. Her previous photos with Palaash remain on Instagram.
