New Delhi, May 25: Mumbai-based electronics firm iBall has come out with a quad-core tablet with some amazing specs.
The iBall Slide Q9703 slate comes with a 9.7-inch QXGA HD IPS display that sports a resolution of 2048 x 1536, with a pixel density of 264 ppi. That means you get a non-Apple tablet in India with a retina-display. It has the same resolution as the iPad 4. The slate is capable of playing 4096 x 2160p videos.
It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. The 2MP camera is good enough to make face-to-face video calls, capturing self portraits and recording videos.
The high-end tablet comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside octa-core GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable by another 32GB via microSD card. Most high-end tablets from Indian brands still come with 2 GB of RAM.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as 3G dongle support. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera.
The tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that is powered by a whooping 8,000mAh battery. The tablet costs Rs 15,999.
