The Sikkim Government is taking steps to revive the tourism industry in the state. With ease in restrictions, the footfall of tourists has increased. Stakeholders associated with the tourism industry have welcomed the govt's decision. "The government has decided to open Sikkim for tourists. If everything remains fine, more relaxations will be given to boost tourism," said Sikkim's Tourism Additional Secretary Kapil Meena. Sikkim has around 1900 active cases of COVID.
