Rescuers in Nepal have recovered a total of 19 bodies up to now, which includes four Indians. The tragic incident occurred when two buses were swept into a swollen river following a landslide in the Chitwan district last week.
Rescuers resumed search operations on Saturday for over 50 missing people in Nepal in two passenger buses that were swept away by a massive landslide on Friday. Earlier, it was reported that seven Indian nationals were aboard the buses, all of them feared killed in the incident.
The two buses carrying 65 passengers, including seven Indians, plunged into the rain-swollen river after being swept away by a landslide in the Simaltal area along the Narayanghat-Mugling road in Chitwan district. Search efforts were hampered by heavy rains in the area and stopped after nightfall.
