Add '0' before dialling a mobile phone number from your landline starting January 1, says DoT
India | November 25, 2020 13:15 ISTThe department of telecommunications (DoT) has made it mandatory to prefix 0 before dialling any mobile number from your landline January 1 onwards. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (Trai) had in May recommended a '0' prefix for all such calls to create sufficient numbering space for telecom service providers.
