'Illiterate' Rakhi Sawant has assets worth Rs 15 crore

Rakhi has declared liabilities of Rs 2.52 crore that includes Rs 72.5 lakh in income tax dues.  The declaration says Rakhi has a case pending against her under sections of cheating and breach of trust under IPC.  

Rakhi has marked herself “illiterate” in the educational qualifications column in her nomination papers. 

The actress, who launched Rashtriya Aam Party, had said she was entering politics “to wake up MPs from their deep sleep and to solve problems of people as they have deep trust in me”.

All the six parliamentary constituencies of Mumbai, including Mumbai North West seat, will go to polls on April 24.
