Assembly polls: People were unhappy over pricerise, admits Sonia Gandhi

Soon after, Rahul Gandhi took the mike to say, that it was people's power which has challenged the traditional parties in Delhi.

"The people have given a clear message, and we have heard it not only with our mind, but also with our heart.  Congress party has the ability to transform itself.

"Sheilaji has worked hard in Delhi and I believe Sheilaji gave good governance. I want to say that apart from good governance, we will have to give the common people a good space, where the common man can assert himself.

"Political parties are not providing adequate space to the man on the street. I will now become aggressive in providing the common man an adequate space in the party", said Rahul Gandhi.
