Praveen Togadia banned from holding rally in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia has been denied permission to enter Bengaluru and hold a rally Virat Hindu Samajothsava on Feburuary 8, 2015.The commissioner of Police issued this order citing that

Bengaluru: Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia has been denied permission to enter Bengaluru and hold a rally Virat Hindu Samajothsava on Feburuary 8, 2015.

The commissioner of Police issued this order citing that the law and order situation in the city may get affected by the prgoramme and Togadia attending it.

Pravin Togadia has always been in the news for his controversial comments which he makes during the public rallies which may result in affecting the law and order situation.

The city police commissioner clarified that the reason behind issuing this order was because the senior VHP leader is habit of  making inflammatory speeches and this could have a serious impact.

The Commissioner also stated that there is every possibility of communal harmony getting affected if the speech by Togadia is not prevented.
