An earthquake of magnitude 4.2 on the Richter scale was recorded in Himachal Pradesh's Kareri district on Saturday. The quake was reported at 8.21 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 10 km north- northwest of Dharamshala, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the moderate-intensity quake was 10 km.
So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced.
