Ghaziabad, Jun 29: A woman on Friday gave birth to a girl child in a moving train, however the new born died soon after due to lack of proper medical attention.
Seema, a resident of Nangloi in Delhi, took a train from New Delhi railway station to Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, sources said.
Seema gave birth to a child before the Ghaziabad railway station, they said adding the new born died soon after.
The issue was brought to the notice of Ghaziabad GRP, who took the woman to a nearby hospital, sources said.
