BJP will form government for second consecutive time: Yogi Adityanath after exercising his franchise

Polling is underway for seventh and the last phase of Lok Sabha election 2019, on Sunday. In this phase, 59 constituencies, spread over seven states and one union territory, will go to polls.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday expressed his gratitude towards the voters for coming out in large numbers and exercising their franchise in the Lok Sabha election 2019.

“I’m glad that people turn out in large numbers to cast their votes,” Yogi Adityanath said after exercising his franchise at polling booth no. 246 in Gorakhpur. 

Yogi Adityanath also expressed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will return to power with complete majority and form the government for the second consecutive time.

Polling is underway for seventh and the last phase of Lok Sabha election 2019, on Sunday. In this phase, 59 constituencies, spread over seven states and one union territory, will go to polls.

In Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, voting will take place for 13 seats each, nine in West Bengal, eight seats each in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, all four constituencies of Himachal Pradesh; three in Jharkhand and lone seat of Chandigarh. 

Prominent candidates in this phase include Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers - Manoj Sinha, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri, Kirron Kher, Sunny Deol and Ravi Kishan of BJP, Sukhbir Badal of SAD, Meira Kumar and Shatrughan Sinha of Congress and Shibu Soren of JMM.
