IIFA 2018: Highlights of the starry night at Bangkok

The glittering ceremony of IIFA 2018 took place in Bangkok yesterday. Varun Dhawan, Rekha, Arjun Kapoor and many renowned Bollywood stars graced the event and left no stone unturned to entertain their fans. The 19th edition of the Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards saw many spectacular performances by actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor but it was veteran actress Rekha’s act that grabbed all the eyeballs as the lady returned to the stage after the gap of 21 long years. The 19th edition of the Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards took place yesterday. From slaying on the green carpet to entertaining the audiences with spectacular performances, Bollywood stars left no stone unturned to make the event memorable. Varun Dhawan danced to some of his popular tracks whereas Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon set the stage on fire with their sizzling chemistry. Every film has its own destiny: Anil Kapoor on 'Mr. India' sequel

Actor Anil Kapoor, on the fate of a probable Mr. India sequel, said it will happen when it has to happen and that Sridevi and Amrish Puri are surely missed. At the green carpet of the 19th edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Bangkok on Sunday, Anil was asked about the sequel of the 1987 entertainer.

He said, "Every film has its own destiny. And when it's going to happen, it's will happen."

There were talks that Anil and Sridevi would be back for the follow-up of the movie, originally directed by Shekhar Kapur.
