after knockout aib renders short apology for pulling out of next show

We know AIB (All India Bakchod) for its nasty yet realistic humor sense that has made us ROFL quite a number of times.  But, the latest communication from these guys is just not what we expected. It is gloomy, short and certainly not of their taste!

The AIB group, rendering an apology from the fans, has posted a small message on their FB page saying: “Regrettably, All India Bakchod is cancelling all shows of our Stage Forty-Twoo live tour that was scheduled to kick off in Pune on the 7th of March.”

The very reason behind pulling off ‘Stage 42' is the controversy generated around its show ‘AIB Knockout' last month.

Noticeably, AIB has always been more elaborative in putting forth their views which is seen missing this time. We hope it is not the consequence of dealing with the moral police of the country which went over the top to restrict such genre of ‘freedom of speech'.

'AIB Knockout' - the roast comedy show, starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor as the roast and Karan Johar as the host went viral on YouTube, but invited flak from various sections of society for the use of expletives.

Though, AIB pulled down the video due to the wide-spread criticism, but the police inquiry and FIRs were enough to depress the whole mood.

Explaining its stand on the cancellation the recent show, AIB said, “Because we've spent the last month and a half dealing with you-know-what and we now need time to write up a kickass show that kicks the ass of 'The Show That Must Not Be Named'.”

Though, the group promised to make a super come back, saying “Sorry about this, but we'll be back soon. And with a completely new show at that.”

Hi all.

Regrettably, All India Bakchod is cancelling all shows of our Stage Forty-Twoo live tour that was scheduled to kick off in Pune on the 7th of March. Why?

Because we've spent the last month and a half dealing with you-know-what and we now need time to write up a kickass show that kicks the ass of 'The Show That Must Not Be Named'. Sorry about this, but we'll be back soon. And with a completely new show at that.

Trust us, this was not an easy call to take. Also, in case you're wondering, yes, the Stage 42 tickets you bought will be refunded over the next 7 days, no questions asked.

In case you have any questions on your refund you can write in to help@insider.in and they'll get back to you within 24 hours.

As always, we're super grateful for your support and we hope that the next time we get on stage, you guys will turn up, louder and happier than ever before.

On the bright side, we're back to work now. Our next set of videos are already in production and will be out soon, so yay.

Thank you once again.

Cheers

AIB
