New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Oppo has launched its new smartphone model- Neo 3. The device is available on Flipkart with the ‘Oppo Neo R831' tag.
The device comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and is powered with a dual-core 1.3GHz processor with1GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 4GB, which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD.
The handset runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS sugarcoated with Oppo's proprietary ColorOS UI.
The Neo 3 is supported with OTG, which allows you to exchange data between different kinds of devices by connecting your Neo 3 with your mouse, keyboard or USB flash drive.
Oppo Neo 3 uses HotKnot technology which allows you to share files simply by touching another mobile screen with yours. Using this technology, Oppo is trying to introduce a new concept known as ‘screen-to-screen transmission'.
It offers a 5MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, OTG, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 2.1. The smartphone weighs around 128.5 grams and is fuelled with a 1900mAh battery.
At present, Oppo Neo 3 is priced at Rs 10,990 on Flipkart.
