Valletta Tornado
The Valletta tornado occurred on September 23, 1551 or 1556 that hit the Grand Harbour of Malta. It began as a waterspout and destroyed everything when it hit the Grand Harbour and also destroyed a shipping armada. Although there are many conflicting sources about the Valetta Tornado, however according to the sources it t killed more than 600 people.
Sicily Tornado
Known as one of the deadliest tornadoes ever, the Sicily tornadoes were two tornadoes that hit the western Sicily (now Italy) in late December 1851. Being one of the oldest occurrences in Italy, and lack of technology at that time, not much data could be collected about the tornado. Although the number of victims is unknown, however, the death toll assessed is more than 500 people.
Manikganj, Singair and Nawabganj Tornado
Bangladesh is one of the most tornado affected countries in the world. One such deadly tornado is the Manikganj, Singair and Nawabganj Tornado, that hit the Manikganj, Singair and Nawabganj city in Bangladesh in 1973. If it was Bhabanipur in the previous case, here it was Balurchar. Along with Balurchar, nearly eight other villages were also destroyed, killing around 681 people.
