East Pakistan Tornado
The East Pakistan tornado (now called Bangladesh) has been one of the most deadly tornados ever. On 14th April 1969, a deadly tornado hit Bangladesh, where 660 people were killed and more than 4000 people were injured. That same day, another big tornado hit Bangladesh where 223 people were killed.
Tri-State Tornado
Known as the deadliest tornado in U.S. history, The Great Tri-State Tornado occurred on 18th March 1925, which ‘single' handedly attacked 10 towns. It was an F5 tornado traveling nearly at 350 kilometers per hour. It is the second costliest tornado that affected the world killing more than 700 people.
Daulatpur–Saturia tornado
The costliest and deadliest tornado in Bangladesh's history, Daulatpur–Saturia tornado, occurred in the Manikganj District on April 26, 1989 and was an extremely destructive tornado. The towns of Saturi and Manikgank were made grave yard with 80,000 people were homeless and more than 7000 people were injured while more than 1300 people were killed
