Ahmedabad is all set to welcome visitors to the 14th International Flower Show 2026, beginning Thursday, January 1, at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre. Organised by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, the much-awaited annual event will be inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, marking the start of a vibrant floral celebration in the heart of the city.

This year’s theme, Bharat Ek Gatha, traces India’s journey from ancient civilisation to the modern era through elaborate floral installations. Using flowers, plants and large artistic structures, the show brings together stories of the nation’s culture, history, scientific progress and core values. A special highlight at the opening will be a floral presentation centred on Stree Shaktikaran (women empowerment), adding a powerful and contemporary layer to the visual storytelling on display.
