Ramayana teaser: Did you spot Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana?
The teaser of Ramayana has sparked massive buzz, not just for Ranbir Kapoor’s look as Lord Rama but also for subtle, blink-and-miss appearances of key characters. Fans have spotted glimpses of Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravie Dubey as Lakshmana, while Yash’s Ravana appears as a looming, fiery presence.

The teaser of 'Ramayana' dropped today, and it has already sparked conversations, largely for Ranbir Kapoor’s first look as Lord Rama. But as fans replay the visuals, a few subtle moments are drawing equal attention, fleeting glimpses that hint at the larger world of the film.
Among them are brief but significant appearances believed to be Sita and Lakshmana, characters central to the epic’s emotional core. Although the teaser keeps things simple, these scenes offer enough to pique the audience’s curiosity.
A Glimpse of Sai Pallavi as Sita
Although the teaser doesn’t show the audience the face of Sai Pallavi as Sita for too long, the audience is aware that they have seen the actress in the role in an ethereal avatar. The scene is simple yet elegant, which is in line with the way the character of Sita is traditionally portrayed in the Ramayana – calm, composed, and rooted in strength. This is essentially a blink-and-miss kind of scene; however, it is one that has already started the ball rolling in the online space, with the audience praising the simplicity of the introduction. Sai Pallavi can be seen in the teaser as she sits next to Lord Rama and Lakshmana in a boat. Take a look:
Lakshmana’s Presence in the Teaser
Lakshmana, who is portrayed by Ravie Dubey in the film, is also seen in the teaser as he stands next to Lord Rama in what can be seen as an early sign of their journey. The presence of Lakshmana in the teaser is subtle yet shows the loyalty and support he will offer his brother throughout the film.
Ravana: A larger-than-life looming presence
When Yash joined the cast of Ramayana, he already raised the expectations of the fans. While Ravana's proper look wasn't revealed, we did catch a glimpse of his rage in a fire-based look. Check it out:
The decision to keep Ravana, Sita and Lakshmana’s appearances minimal seems intentional. Rather than revealing too much, the teaser focuses on setting the tone and atmosphere, allowing audiences to discover these characters gradually. Meanwhile, Hanuman's look is still under wraps. Sunny Deol will be seen playing Hanuman in the film.
If the teaser is anything to go by, 'Ramayana' is not rushing its reveals. It is stated for a Diwali release this year.
