Alia Bhatt remembered Asha Bhosle as "a voice that lives forever." Here is her post for the legendary singer:

Aamir Khan's team, on Instagram, condoled the singer's death. He wrote, "Ashaji’s sudden demise is a shock to all of us and a loss which cannot be conveyed in words. She was the last of the great four. Ashaji passing away marks the end of an era. She will always live with us through her songs. Her voice will always ring in our hearts. My heartfelt condolences to her family. Love and respect always. a (sic)."

On the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, singer-music composer Shankar Mahadevan says, "A very sad day for all of us and a very sad day for Indian music. I cannot believe that our dearest Asha Tayi is no more. I am not able to express my sorrow and what I am feeling right now, as a musician, as didi's worshipper, as a very close family friend and looking up to her like Maa Saraswati. I am sure that every single Indian is heartbroken. But didi and her music will never ever perish from the face of the earth till humans exist. Because her contribution cannot be described in words. She is somebody who is going to live forever and going to be there on our phone, on TV, on every single medium where music plays. She is going to be there with us, with her amazing voice resounding all over the planet. At this moment, we are all grief-stricken; we are all heartbroken. Let's all pray that she is in a better place and keeps blessing us and sending us her positive and enthusiastic energy that she used to always share with us..."

In his Instagram post, director Subhash Ghai wrote, "Yes Asha tai left us but we cannot leave her. An iconic singer of India Asha bhonsle a unique gem will be remembered in history of voice of India with so much versatility never before, never after. It’s my personal loss too as she has always bestowed her special love n blessings me n my family.  You have passed away very graciously at 92 giving a wealth of songs to our n next generations of India. RIP Asha ji Ghai family n Whistling Woods family."

Just days before the passing of Asha Bhosle, actor Tabu shared a deeply personal moment on Instagram. She posted about receiving a guitar from the legendary singer. In light of her passing, the emotional post now reads like a farewell.

Narendra Modi shared his condolences over the demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle. In his X post, he wrote, "Deeply saddened by the passing of Asha Bhosle Ji, one of the most iconic and versatile voices India has ever known. Her extraordinary musical journey, spanning decades, enriched our cultural heritage and touched countless hearts across the world. Be it her soulful melodies or vibrant compositions, her voice carried timeless brilliance. I’ll always cherish the interactions I’ve had with her. My condolences to her family, admirers and music lovers. She will continue to inspire generations and her songs will forever echo in people’s lives."

For those who don't know, veteran singer Asha Bhosle started her singing career at the age of 10 after dropping out of school in 1943.

Singer Chinmayi Sripaada offered heartfelt condolences for Asha Bhosle's family. In her X post, she wrote, "Can anything I say ever be good enough to describe her greatness? Is there anything at all that she couldn’t do? The true trailblazer - showed us all how it is done."

Akshay Kumar expressed his grief over Asha Bhosle's death. He said, "No words can convey the loss I feel at Asha Bhosle ji’s demise. Unki surily awaaz hamesha hamesha ke liye amar rahegi. Om Shanti."

Veteran Bollywood singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. In a conversation with PTI, Dr Pratit Samdani from the hospital said the singer died due to multi-organ failure.
