Liam Payne, who recently flew to London to celebrate her girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy’s birthday has now announced that the long-time couple are heading separate ways. Liam and Cheryl who were together for more than two years, were one of the most adored couples of Hollywood. They first came out in public in 2015. The former One Direction star and English singer Tweedy also have a son together named Bear.
Liam took to twitter to announce their split. He tweeted, “Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.”
Talking about their son Bear, he added, “Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”
This former couple had an adorable love story. They first met in 2008 on the sets of X Factor, where Tweedy was one of the judges and Liam was a contestant.
Tweedy also posted a similar announcement on Twitter.
