Nalanda Bihar Election Results 2025: JDU's Shrawon Kumar secures victory with lead of over 32,000 votes

As of Round 32 out of 32 in the Nalanda Assembly constituency, Shrawon Kumar of Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) has emerged victorious, securing a total of 72,091 votes, with a substantial lead of 32,851 votes over his nearest competitor. Kaushalendra Kumar of the Indian National Congress (INC) trailed with 39,240 votes, losing 32,851 votes from his earlier performance. Kumari Poonam Sinha of the Jan Suraaj Party remained in third place with only 5,129 votes, marking a significant drop of 99,813 votes.
The race, which began at 8 a.m. with the vote counting for Nalanda alongside other constituencies in Bihar, saw Shrawon Kumar maintain a strong lead throughout. His victory reflects JD(U)'s dominance in the region, with Shrawon Kumar comfortably defeating his rivals in this fiercely contested race.
Established in 1977, Nalanda is a general category seat in Nalanda district and one of the seven assembly segments under the Nalanda Lok Sabha constituency.
