    Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India will look to seal a place in the final of the Nidahas Trophy T20I tri-series when they take on Sri Lanka in the fourth T20I at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Monday. All the three teams -- India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh -- have played two matches and won a match each. The fourth match will give both the teams an opportunity to move to the top of the table. The men-in-blue lost the first match to Sri Lanka by five wickets before defeating Bangladesh by six wickets on Thursday. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, will not only be confident having defeated India but at the same time, the hosts will be angry after losing to Bangladesh by five wickets in a high-scoring affair on Saturday night.

Klaasen brought up his maiden T20I half-century, producing an awe inspiring show of power hitting to plunder 69 runs off just 30 balls. Earlier, it was India who rode on some power packed batting to post 188/4 in their 20 overs. Manish Pandey was the highest scorer for India with an unbeaten 79 runs off just 48 balls as his power-packed knock, which included six boundaries and three sixes, provided the late impetus to the Indian innings. Veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave him excellent support from the other end, remaining unbeaten on 52 runs off a mere 28 balls, hitting four boundaries and three sixes along the way. Coming together in the 11th over, the duo added 98 runs between them to carry the visitors to a formidable total. India will take on South Africa in the penultimate 3rd and final T20I match at Newlands, Cape Town.

    Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli scripted history as he became the first Indian batsman to cross 900-point mark concurrently in Tests and ODIs, confirmed the ICC ODI Rankings on Tuesday. Kohli's purple patch with the bat saw him become only the second batsman after South Africa's AB de Villiers to attain the 900-point mark concurrently in both forms of the game. He is one among only five to have crossed 900 points in both forms of the game as he consolidated his top position with 558 runs in the 5-1 series win over South Africa, during which he notched up three tons.
