Trinamool MPs Mimi Chakraborty, Nusrat Jahan pose in front of Parliament

Trinamool Congress MPs and Bengali actors Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan are massively trolled on social media after the two shared pictures from their first day at the Parliament. The two actresses were elected as Trinamool Congress MPs from West Bengal and on Monday, they shared pictures of themselves posing in front of the Parliament on their respective Instagram accounts. Just when the pictures surfaced the internet, netizens weren’t too happy with them and loaded their comments section.

Netizens slammed the two MPs for posing in front of the Parliament and how they dress up on their first day as Members of Parliament. On one hand, Mimi shared her picture saying, “Remember your dreams and fight for them”, Nusrat captioned her picture as, “A new beginning..!! I thank @mamataofficial and people of my Basirhat constituency to have belief in me..” For the unversed, Mimi is Trinamool Congress MP from Jadavpur and Nusrat Jahan is the Trinamool MP from Basirhat. While one Instgaram user shamed the actress by saying, "this is not film shooting", Another one wrote, "Did you go there to do this drama? Please do not do this drama at the Parliament and shame Bengal." One user wrote in Bengali, "This is not a place for photoshoot. This is a place where you should fight for the people's rights and legislate for the country. You don't belong here."
