Centre hikes wheat MSP by Rs 25, support price rises to Rs 2,610 per quintal
India | Sep 30, 2026, 04:38 PM ISTThe Union Cabinet has approved a Rs 25 per quintal hike in wheat MSP for 2027-28, taking it to Rs 2,610. MSPs for barley, gram, masur, rapeseed and safflower have also been increased, with the total farmer payout estimated at Rs 90,962 crore.
