Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar was among the18 candidates finalized on Saturday by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming assembly election in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, popularly called 'Metro Man', E Sreedharan also got a party ticket for the Kerala assembly polls.
Khushbu Sundar's decision to join the BJP ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly polls scheduled next year is being seen as the saffron party's attempt to ramp up its organisation in the southern state where it has a very weak presence.
